To support her husband, who is struggling financially, Mio becomes an office worker at the company run by Ozawa. However, her husband, Sosuke, is engrossed in an affair and looks down on the devoted Mio as “incompetent.” Desperate, Mio chooses the path offered by Ozawa: “a mistress secretary with ten times the salary,” and becomes immersed in a morally corrupt affair. Eventually, Ozawa acquires Sosuke’s company. While her husband loses his position and grovels, Mio, as Ozawa’s mistress, reverses the situation and looks down on her husband working in the same office. A story of revenge and redemption steeped in moral transgression.
