I was dumbfounded when I realized that a massive stockpile of condoms—ordered by mistake—was nearing its expiration date.
That’s when Nao, a wholesome-looking female college student who worked part-time at the store, spoke up.
“Manager… I’ll use up all those condoms for you.” “Huh? With your boyfriend?”
“I don’t have a boyfriend; it’s a sex buddy. Will you help me out too, Manager?”
I had always thought Nao was wholesome and serious—I couldn’t believe she was saying something like that…
This has to be a dream. I must be having a bizarre dream right now.
Unable to fully process the situation, I found myself starting to work through the condom inventory with Nao.
